Seat Pricing

Need a little input from the braintrust. I have been asked to bid a movie theater. They have hundreds, if not over a thousand, seats. I really don't want to do seat after seat in a dark theater for $1 each. $5 would make it worth it for me. The manager straight up told me they are looking for a good company to come in and clean because they are aware that the other guys they used were "Not good", his words.

Lately I've been pricing my bids higher and getting them. Thinking about doing it here also. Anyway, what is the going rate for a theater seat?

From my lesson, cleaning 785 chairs at that mega church last year...you need two upholstery tools minimum and 3 guys on the job to get in and out in a reasonable time.

How clean are they wanting them. I had an upholstery instructor tell a story of cleaning a theater. He was always asked to do the carpet but never the chairs. So he asked why. They liked his work and he did a beautiful job on the carpet but he was bidding too high on the seats, they only wanted them freshened up they didn't want a deep clean on the seats. So they cleaned them with upholstery shampoo, horsehair brush and a bucket of water. Find out what kind of clean they are wanting. They are in a dark room may not want a hwe just a bonnet clean.

I guess I’ll buy a bucket.
