What a stupid ass!

Leaving my last job, long driveway, I pull to the curb and see the van coming.
Slowly, he passes I pull in behind.
I follow slowly, slowly.. like 5mph... Then I see the old school flip phone come to his ear, he slowly turns a corner and proceed slowly.

Well, come on.. I'm done for the day and want to get home.

So I give him a honk letting him know I'm behind him.

He pulls to the curb and as I pass I look over and see him bitching me out... Oh hell no!!!
I stop and roll down passenger window. He pulls along side. ( mind you a res sized street ) "What the ****s your problem" he sez.
Dude, you are driving like 5 mph talking on your cell phone and I'm stuck behind you.
"I was not on my cellphone, I'm looking for an address, what the **** is your problem, I was not on my phone. "
Ok, fine but your going 5 mph with your cellphone to your ear.. I say.
"I was not on my phone I'm looking for an address, what is your problem?"
Ok, fine I say.. Never mind and drive off.
Look in my rearview he is still steaming.... I feel for the home he is headed to.

OK... So he knew I was behind him, for a couple of blocks, while I guess he is looking for an address on 2 different streets.
I guess he figured the world must halt for him.

You other CCers hog the street as you creep for an address? Or also watch for traffic behind you and pull aside if slowing other cars?

I had a lady call the office just the other day complaining about my guys driving.

I told her I was going to fire him.

She was happy with that.

I could tell because I was watching her in my rear view mirror.

I think we have all been that stupid ass every once in a while.. he was probably pissed because he was working late and some people just have bad days for whatever reason.

I hate tailgaters, especially in a subdivision, and really especially when I'm looking for an address. Sometimes I will cram on the brakes and put it in reverse. Once there was a woman following so close I didn't know she was there. I put it in reverse and WHAM. I got out and looked at her smashed up front end and said, "It was like that before wasn't it?" She said "It's a little worse now". LOL

I have done it before. I drove 30k a year in my sales job saw a lot of idiot employees over the years.
I have to admit I would want that call if I where the owner.
Better that than the higher insurance rates that will surely come.
