Setting a Butler Truckmount water pressure without a wand or simulator

Why wouldn't they put the pressure regulator on the control panel?

The pump sucks the water from the tank being low so no mix tank or pressure tank for one thing.

Pressure regulator there forever and I believe it might be because of the above listed and needing to be close to the pump

If it's regulating the output of the pump, it seems easy to run a hose to the control panel. Mine is set up similar to yours. Just the way it came but I am looking to move it so it is easier to use.

To answer the original question without watching the excellent video:

With the unit on and at running speed just open the hot water convenience valve a bit until you get a reading on your pressure gauge. (Opening too far will give you a very low, incorrect reading.). Now adjust your pressure to the desired amount. Close hot water convenience valve. Done.
