As a business owner, you are told how to clean. You are taught standards on how to clean. Sold the latest, greatest machines that will make the carpet look new. You invest on learning how to get jobs and spend a great deal of energy running your business. But are you failing when you get in the home? Where most people fail is in the home. Do you ask for extra work? If you do- you are failing. You have to establish the need. As this is a male dominated crowd, I will ask this question: Do you just walk up to a random woman in a bar and ask for sex? Of course Mikey probably has in his youth….. Jk....
But most guys don’t. They have a system they have developed on how to gradually work towards this goal. Perhaps you bought a drink, asked her to dance, or awkwardly just introduced yourself….
Without these systems, the women will go running….. The same can be said for your customer. If you bombard them with upsells: They will RUN! They might even cancel the initial service……

Everything comes down to perception.... Your not selling, merely offering..... Sell the sizzle not the steak.... It's a big difference between telling a woman you want to make love and you just want to have sex.... Both basically get the same outcome, it's all in the perception......
