I got to take one for a whirl the other day. I was very impressed with the suction power. I couldn't use one everyday, but I am going to get one for my parent's house as a gift.

On a side note I got to demo an 800 dollar sebo vacuum. It was very nice, but in this economy I can't fathom spending 800 dollars when a bissel will get the job done.

I have both and the Shark (and new Lift Off/Away model) kicks ass all over the Sebo

cant say, my wife owns the Lift Off, certainly better if its hard floors your after.
