Should I buy one

I've seen the ads with V's for $10,000 old venturi units why should I or shouldn't I get one of these? If I got one what modifications would need to be made. I can't afford to make a mistake that big!

I bought one last year with very few problems. I looked in Jacksonville , Fla . and the 2 units I saw were in much worse shape HOWEVER with a little TLC they would be nice units .

What got me was the lack of maintanence - why would you let a unit of this calibre just be run in the ground and not do anything to keep it in tip top shape ?
