Side to side movement in blower

My Roots 47DSL has about one thirty-second inch side to side movement in the pully shaft. Is this normal?

Runs quiet. About 3K hours.

BTW, re a recent thread, Gates Super HC VX belts are labeled "Length Matched" on the belt.

thats funny you ask because I have a 13.5 hp robin suburu motor that has about that much play in the shaft also
