That's in surprisingly good shape. MB-3 soap scum remover and a good scrubbing should get it cleaned up, unless there is a coating on it. If there is, just strip it. Most of these showers don't last long.

and what is your scrub brush/pad/tool of choice?

Soap Scum is mainly composed of lipids which are fats. Historically bar soap was made from animal fats. The pH of MB3 is actually 12.5. You should be able to use an alkaline degreaser (although there is no substitute for MB3).

I like using a green pad or a 3M blue cleaner pad for scrubbing this material.

There is not much I walk away from, these have been top of the list the last few years. Never can seem to do enough to them to justify my price. I might have to get some of that stuff.

this one's actually in good shape. Most of the time I'll quote replacement and won't even entertain cleaning or repair as they're usually spalling and falling apart.
