I'm in Northern Idaho and the driveway to my house ( and garage) is 800 ft of dirt road. Some of it uphill. I do have great winter tires but sometimes that is not enough to get my truck safely back into the garage at the end of a day. I have been using cables just for the last strech to my house. It's a hassle especially when it's dark. So I was looking for alternatives to the cables (or chains ) and I found this.

I have not bought them yet but that seems to be a really good system. What do you guys think? Does anybody here have a set of these? Or something similar?

I would buy them. We have issues here with the city not clearing or salting side streets. Some with pretty fierce hills. Looks easy to put on just before you need them
