I would bet a lot of people just let the hair get wet, and then screw around with a rubber glove to get it off. I'll admit that before I knew better, that's what I did.

Something like that would be a up sale to Natural Fiber cleaning!!
I would Vac and use the rubber glove trick. Not many like that one but every ounce in awhile.
Leave the contents of vac and TM filter on there counter with invoice right?
I would rather deal with the treasures under the cushions than Silver Back hair.

I had a cat divan I did last month and it took me and extra hour of vacuuming to remove the fur like you have there. It looked clean just from vacuuming, I cleaned it thoroughly and it looked great!
I "thought" it was ready to go. Told them it was done and the next day the technicians picked my work apart.
It was clean and looked great but took another 15-minutes of vacuuming & a tape roller to get the fine hair off the skirts and in between the cords of the cushions. Dan showed me the hair and said would you want Jim Pemberton to see this?
That hurt!
On the bright side they said they homeowner cried when she saw how great it came out. Family heirloom, trashed by a cat that slept on it. No urine just fur and some food spots.

I loved my rugrats but the belt easily rips and the turbine spins too fast even with the engine idling

Those work great with a standard vacuum but a TM is too much power for it. It's rip the fabric right off the base.

i would not do a brocade..
too askerrt of the fuzzies....
I have the Oreck head jus like that.
And my next couch will cost 2x's as much to clean!
