Someone stole $200 from me

Have a job scheduled for tomorrow. Supposed to be a sofa and a few rooms of carpet. Just got a call from the customer. She had some trades people in doing some flooring work. They moved the sofa to the carport temporarily. When they finished what they were doing, they discovered that the sofa was missing. Someone came onto the property, loaded it up and took off with it. Who the fk does this kind of thing?

I put stuff out by the road and it's gone in few hours. I put a vanity with chair and a matching dresser out there a few months ago and was gone in an hour.

In the past I put a treadmill, exercise bike, a pair of old 10 speeds, some stock Mazda wheels, out there. I used to put a Free sign but people take it even without one.

Had a neighbor do that with a pile of firewood. Sat there for 2 weeks with a free sign. It disappeared overnight the first day he listed it for sale.

I do that too. Funny thing is there are only 4 houses on our private road.

I put one of those paddle boats out there one time with a free sign on it. The thing had washed up on my shore a couple years in a row and no one on the lake took ownership of it. I was tired of the thing on my beach so I dragged if out to the street and put a FREE sign on it.

It was gone in an hour. A couple of days later I see one of my neighbors had it advertised for sale for $200.
