I never have luck with the rebuild kit....might be too challenged... So I just replace the entire Dema valve.

Carry a new adjustable version in each van and about once a year to 3 years if super lucky replace them....

Then get another one on order for the repair kit...

Also the actual metal piece where the draw hose connects and has all the parts in it you'll be replacing needs tightening, if it turns by hand its to loose. but ya rebuild kit.

Before replacing the Dema, do check the filter coming into the unit and on ours we have one at the end of the wand by the jet... Check and clean first

I switched to a Hydro-Force from a pump up this past spring and will never go back.

I was going to buy some back up parts and kits to have on hand, but they are so expensive it is much more cost effective to just buy the cheapest complete model and scab parts as you need them.

There is aftermarket dema valves, half the 75 bucks the local disty(flogger) wants.

If the problem happens now and again, a small piece of undiluted powder is stuck under the ball letting water go into jug when not keying the handle.

Using a liquid prespray will help them last longer and I get a more even solution spray
