If it is dribbling out the end your valve needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
If you are going to replace it, replace it with the all metal valve from spraying systems. All the plastic ones I have seen are junk especially the ones that have stamped right on them 150 degrees. Even a wimpy truckmount will exceed 150 degrees while putting down prespray and make those dribble after a week. Can't believe they sell those for truckmount applications.

As Kevin said the right way to repair a dribble is to rebuild the valve but I've had a few customers do the valve it the end of the wand. They liked the fact that they could completely shut it off.

If you modified your HF to take 1/8" Vee jets you could buy a $7 inline mini check valve like we use on the Greenhorns and Ti wands and be done with it.
Personally I never knew why all of them took 1/4" jets and the thick lance, it doesn't need a larger flow rate.
