After a break job earlier this year my speedo needle will jump around like mad every once in a while.

The mechanics can find any relationship to the problem and the break job but every few days she bounce around when I'm on the freeway @ 60 to 70 mph..

Could be my imagination my my MPG has gotten worse since.

anyone?

It's not 60 to70...

Most likely you are doing 40 to 50 mph...

the upper limit of the UD!

it ain't like you'll ever be caught speeding in that thing

mine was doing the same thing, you are going to need them to check both speed cables as one or both may be damaged or loose. simple fix probably going to cost around 85 dollars.

on some trannys where the speed cable screws into the side....there is a little plastic gear in there that sets the speed of the truck....a lot of times the teeth on these gears get worn down and at high speed slip and that will cause the needle to bounce......easy to check just unscrew the cable and pull the gear and check it...they just slide in and out.....
