Went to look at a custy's carpet today. Apparently, while she was having her home remodeled, the guy who came to spray the insulation in the walls didn't cover the carpet, so there is spray foam insulation around the perimeter of the room.

Anybody know how to get this stuff out?

Thanks

Methylene chloride will dissolve polyurethane, and provide a means to remove it. Some paint strippers contain methylene chloride, and may be of some help. Understand that it will require extreme care, good ventilation, PPE, lots of rags, and time if the deposits are heavy.

You may want to try a small section and decide whether it is worth the effort.

And if you do, do add into the formula your weekly rate for shortening your life expectancy.
There must be a blue book for that.
