Sprayer pressure

I use a pump-up as I don't like the airborne chemical mist with the inline sprayer. Do you turn down your pump pressure when using one?

I may be breaking down & getting an inline soon, I thought about getting the low pressure version & adding a regulator to it so I wouldn't have to run out to the truck. Anyone do this?

Also, which have you had better results with, HF or Spraymaster?

Spraymaster sprayers will only work right if the solution temp is below 185 degrees. Other than that it's a good sprayer. My preference would be the HF though.

All you have to do to reduce the volume when using an inline sprayer is to adjust your ballvalve at the end of your solution to reduce the flow.
No need to go out to the truck and reduce pressure.

We turn it up and get out of the room faster. Unless furnishings dictate otherwise we usually run 1000 psi, but to each their own.

I like the Spray master, at least the jugs.

As for the injection valve, I've only used HF as I can get them serviced locally. Since switching to liquid prespray concentrate I haven't had much problem with it plugging.

To keep the chem mist down, make sure you've got an 05 or 06 tip.
