I have a non-adjustable in-line injection sprayer that is just spraying water - no pretreat. I took it all apart, it was all clear with nothing clogged or blocked. So, I replaced the complete valve. It still doesn't work. The last time this happened, I had my distibutor rebuild it for me, which didn't fix it. I just bought a new one (this one) and it has worked for the 3-4 years. It seems so simple, but I can't get it working.

What temp you running? Screen clogged on the bottom of the draw tube? How much pressure you running?

It doesn't work at any temp. The screen is clear. I took out the yellow tip so I'm just trying to meter @ 4:1. It just doesn't make any sense.

The suction tube may have a crack. Or the steel ball may be stuck on the spring not allowing chem flow.

Leave it hooked up but take it out of the jug. Take off the filter at the bottom of the hose. Pull the trigger and cover the end of the hose with your finger. You should feel some suction. If not pull the hose off and do the same thing at the opening where the hose attaches. If you get suction there then it's the hose. They get weak and collapse or get cracks and wont draw chems.

If you still don't get suction at the nipple (no pun intended) then put in a rebuild kit. Interlink has a video online that is the same for the spraymaster.

here's the link http://www.interlinksupply.com/index.ht ... ++++++++++

Hope that helps.

I need help, too.

What's the problem when the sprayer just won't draw chem. Draw hose is fine, no plugged filters, spring and s.s. ball are fine and working freely. Still no draw. Any suggestions.

Thanks, Ken, for the link to the video repairs. I couldn't find any videos that addressed my issue as stated above.

Everything can look fine, even act fine, but the slightest variance on the ball, spring or hose and it's not going to work. Put in a rebuild kit it may be the o rings are weak and not sealing too.

BTW Once I started using High Heat from chemspec I stopped having issues with mine. For what it's worth.

Thanks for the info, Ken. BTW, is there ever any need to service anything in the dema unit besides the filters, ball, spring, tube and seals? Are there any serviceable parts in the s.s. dema thingy itself?
Thanks,
Steve

I had the same problem. Inline filter for it was a little dirty, so cleaned it all up and still wouldn't draw chemical. Took the dema apart, looked good. Still didn't draw. So I figured since it was over 3 years old, time for a new one.

Problem solved.

It does sound like the inline filter that is attached to the handle next to the quick coupler is clogged.

I have taken evevrything apart and cleaned it. Everything looked fine, it still wouldn't work. I talked to my distributor and he reccomended a new dema valve. I put a new one on and it still will not draw chemical. It's time to look for other sprayer options, I need a good sprayer for encap/bonnet cleaning anyway.

So you replaced everything but the suction tube and it still doesn't work. Maybe there's a clue there.

if you replaced the tip and checked the check valve and seal then it's gotta be your spraytip at the end of the gun (too worn). Is it brass? Get a fresh stainless jet.
