And trying to kick our butts!

Booked out 3 weeks pretty crazy

April 2018 was one of the worst on record for us with the snow situations.

A look at yesterday

14 hours of cleaning with Saiger's in 2:22. Started the day at 4:30 am.

My warm up for the day was a 3500 Sq foot commercial job followed by 5 other residental jobs with furniture cleaning and moving and cleaning under furniture. Last 2 jobs I had assistance.

Second van with Aron had help until the afternoon.

Spring has Sprung here!

Wow that's awesome!

Water, mold & air ducts are busy. However fire has slowed down. Carpet off and on, with some large projects sprinkled though the week. Certainly not 3 weeks worth!

Nice!

Genny is booked 2 months out. I fill my day as I go. A lot of jobs I do yearly in April and May still haven't booked. Apartment Hallways doctor offices country clubs all say they are waiting for better weather. Still doing some flood work. Ground is still saturated and every time it rains basements fill up for days. Waste of time to try and extract.

I have a number of commercial jobs I need to contact to get scheduled also, or it's going to be a nightmare to fill them in when they suddenly need it....

But the rest of the residential will be the problem too with the people needing it right away...

As I say that...I am heading out to clean a couple more today...then prepare the van to go to Minneapolis tomorrow to work with some other cleaners who want to see the Zipper and Zipper SS and the Sauce on some commercial jobs.

My wife was just trying to figure out where I can go look at 2 other commercial jobs on Monday or Tuesday....crazy crazy....:dejection:

Seriously, most wait till the last minute. Got two calls yesterday about closing on homes this week and can I do it before they move in furniture being delivered Friday!

I often get calls while doing a job asking if I can come clean when I'm done. My schedule looks empty on the weekend looking forward but when I look back at the end of the week it's full lol.

It's one reason I'm having a hard time hiring. Everyone wants an 8 hour schedule. I gotta stay flexible.

One I had scheduled for today (just had to have it done) was a no show.

Rental move out... And the guy made a lot of damage for just there 2 months.

We do work for the owner of the home.

The guy was spray painting everywhere in the house.

Burned the carpets terribly.

The renter tried to clean them, over wet and browned them out.

Building owner pretty pissed at the guy.

Needless to say, I didn't clean it....

Now cleaning out my van and loading it up to bring supplies to other cleaners in Minneapolis tomorrow.

Clean the van and Shop a bit and catch a nap before getting up early again.

Just did a bunch of very needed yard work. Could've used Chavez's help!

Rained all morning and looks like more coming.

Sometimes those no shows are a blessing.

Retired from full time employment. I just hired a 53 year old gentleman that retired from the state prison system with 30 years service, great shape still has children in high school.

I'm busier than Marty at a Put-Down convention. Working 6 days a week for the last few weeks and almost two weeks booked out. Also, I'm not just booked out with little stuff, the big rollers are calling in. Seriously, I'm so sore right now it hurts to write this. Pushing the Orbot with the 40lb weights for 10 hours yesterday did a number on my wrists. I have a blister on the palm of my hand. Next weekend I have a huge Cal-Fire job that is going to kill me.

I may sound like I'm complaining, but I'm so grateful for all the work. Business has taken off and the word is getting around. It feels good to be able to turn away the calls that say, "Hi, I live in the Happy Septic Apts, How much do you charge...." . Sorry pal.

Yes, Spring is here. Glad we are all feeling it. We all need to keep our heads and plan for the winter. In Mark's case, two winters :) He gets extra winters.

Socking 30% of every job paid by check or Credit card and 100% of all cash jobs away into the to 870 payoff fund. I'm going to get that bitch paid off!

I don't even the notice the $550 payments yet but yes I know what Feb March and April can do to the account.
It's the double house payments that hurt. Trying to pay off a $130,000 mortgage in 10 years too.

Men, I’ll be 67 on the last day of the month. If I’ve learned anything, it’s dont let any one payment or thing control your life big or small. If you can control your expenses and make a living, what difference does it make. You get that Vortex or 870 paid off, then it’s wore out. You get victory over that, then it’s $1,286.79 health insurance premium, or taxes, blah, blah. Enjoy life! That is all.

You should be a motivational speaker.
