Got an email today that my card reader has now been sent.

Anyone using square?

Pros Cons?

I'm pretty happy with my service though quickbooks. Ease of use mostly.

Took them 3 months to mail it out.

Got it in the mail today.
Had almost for got I signed up for the service.

I process about 5 credit cards per week.

Currently using QB, has been real easy, but this might be even easier.

Suprised no one has taken square for a ride to report on.

That looks pretty sweet, Give us a report on how you like it. I might have to upgrade my phone after all.

Didn't someone say something about taking 30 days to receive payment?

Is there a limit $ per transaction?
Is there a monthly limit on $ amounts?

How long does it take for $ to be in your bank account, with propay I'm averaging 5 business days or up to a week at times.

But you get your money into propay within a couple of days then you have to transfer. You have the option of a debit card so you can use the money sooner.

30 days is ridiculous. I'm complaining about 3 days right now lol.
This gateway I'm using said 24 hours. BS.

I know I've had them for over a year now, it's a few days to show up on propay's site than another few days for the transfer, usually takes 5-7 in total. I don't want to use it, just prefer knowing it's there quicker.

I went back and had a good look at my service and compared it to my bank account. Sometimes 7 day (including a weekend) yikes.
I called Cybersource (my merchant service provider) and they tell me that's normal.

With QB it was about 3 days tops...sometimes it seemed like 2 because the money batched out upon the transaction.
Mine now waits until 5pm.

I was going to go with Chase...who told me 24 hours...but I'm not going to get into a 2 year contract just for a few days...not yet anyway. lol
