I've been doing a lot of this type of work lately.

We can strip, rinse, and finish about 2000 s/f in under 5 hours using the square scrub.

Personally, i'd rather use the sqaure scrub for CGD instead of the cimex.

Boy, every time I see one of those 777s I am amazed at the stupidity in the layout.
Do you really need that extra waste tank?

probably don't need a 240 gallon waste tank.

Probably don't need a lot of stuff.

Could be like Robinson and not even need a truckmount. 8)

to get really agressive with the square scrub you have to purchase the extra weight for it. Or, have your 150lb helper stand on it while you drive. It's very agressive when you do that!

damn thats an expensive rinse tool.....why not get a 26" or 20" cheap autoscrubber???

I have two autoscrubbers for sale if anyone is enterested. Both have only been used once or twice.

I'll let em go for about half what i paid for them.

they are too awkward and cumbersom for my applications.

the redline spinner is faster, does a better job, and saves money on labor.

for scrub 'n run encRap sCampoo or spray 'n wipe towel cleaning??
and have you ever used one of the round OP shake 'n shine machines for spray 'n wipe cleaning ?

Maybe for what you do...but in 90% of all other applications....like the pictures up above....that is PRIME open area for an autoscrubber....and it WOULD be faster then the spinner

The square scrub might be more agressive if you have weights on it but the normal machine only removes a few coates of floor finish. You can tell this by buffing the floor after you use the square scrub.

The square scrub fills a niche, which is fine but can't says it does a full strip of floor finish

using a spinner will get it cleaner, using a TM is a pain in the arse. if you did a chemical strip than auto scrub pick up of slurry and a clean water rinse. would probably be much quicker on some jobs but you would use a bunch more water

Not if your counting dry time in that 5hrs....

the autoscrubber IS fast but useless under booths, countertops, edges and corners. Imagine the time i would lose going back over those areas with a doodle-bug and a mop.

decided not to go with a chemical strip either because of the many, many carpet transitions and the tight timeline to perform the work (Midnight to five AM).

you can chemical strip with the square scrub too using the back pad. I bet this thing rocks a chemical strip!

2000 s/f - approximate times i spend on each step:

2 hours - stripping
1 hour - rinse w/ spinner and dry
2 hours - apply 4 coats finish (30 minutes dry time between each coat)

Been doing it this way about twice a week for the past 6 weeks now... 8)
