Stainless steel touch up

I haven't done this in a few years after getting pretty good at it for a friend.

Whats the latest and greatest for acid spots on stainless?

Barkeepers friend and blue chrome polish worked for me before. And Al's glass magic.

Had a former helper get a little on some today.

Try spraying the affected area with WD40, let it dwell for one minute, then wipe with newspaper.

Here are the pics. Still have it, thank goodness.

Word of advice. We used to only keep acid to touch up in flip top caps, no sprayers. Somehow we got away from that rule. This is what happens. Back to the old rule.

Nice catch!

I don't like to spray anything when it comes to floors, always pour.
