new years day headed to a big job 9am a guy in front of us was texting during a curve in the highway going 60mph, took a second for it to register as to what I was seeing with my eyes but everyone turned and he just kept going straight no reaction at all.

He flew down a steep embankment about 75ft, bounced through a culvert and smashed into someones fence... somehow his trailblazer (2007?) didnt roll, if it had he probably would have been dead. SUV was completed totaled, he seemed to have been alive airbags deployed but holy shit lol

This guys new years resolution I hope is to put that ******* phone down while hes driving my gawd.

Saw a similar wreck once. I was following a guy from Carlsbad NM to a meeting in Texas. Very flat land. A couple of hundred miles and only one curve in the road the whole way. This guy never turned, just went straight through a guard rail and another 40 or 50 feet beyond. Never made the slightest attempt to turn. I suspect the monotony of hours on a straight road put him to sleep.

wow what a moron.

i was with a buddy and i was driving and a dumb teenager just walked into the street without looking, face glued too his screen. glad i was paying attention i would've smacked him at a good speed.

had a highway patrolman die couple years ago, trucker was watching porn on his cell and ran into the back of the cruiser that was pulled over on a stop
