I have a few questions for those of you who are using a steamin demon in a residential setting. I just recently purchased one and I'm wondering about a few things.

1. How do you handle very tight areas? (Closets, small bathrooms, etc.)
2. How do you clean stairs?
3. What do you use to agitate your prespray?
4. How do you explain to your client that your machine cleans as well as a big noisy truckmount? (I'm not truckmount bashing here)
5. What prespray do you prefer and why?

I'm really impressed with this machine so far. I tested it on a very thick plush carpet, it was bone dry in 4 hours. I'm just unsure of how easy it will be to maneuver in small areas.

Hey Phillip, I have a Classic HP model. Never did use it on a job though (needs a new solenoid for the water line). However, I put a GreenGlide on it and made it able to push forward. I just dislike the heavy hose (Goodyear). As for stairs and tight areas, I've read guys using a stairtool or upholstery tool which requires the window to attach the vacuum hose too. Best of luck to you.
