steamway hydrokinetic tool...who has one?

Just wondering if anyone has gotten one of the new versions. I have been trying to track one down for a couple of months now. Finally got a call today from a distributor that they are in stock. I'm thinking about getting one, but would like to hear pros/cons from owners. Also, do you use the hide-a-hose kit that steamway offers? I've been using the internal hi-dry for many years with no problems, but always looking for a better way to do things.

I have both the old style and the new style and they work great. Though there are a lot of good tools to choose from that each have strong points, the Hydrokinetic will give the best cleaning performance while being gentle and leaving the fabric dryer.

That internal jet PMF tool works great for me!

Cost me $100 bucks years ago with a hide a hose.

Ordered stainless steel glides from PMF and it glides!

I have a good used tool that looks almost new, except that the hose hook up tube is smashed. I will sell it for $100 + shipping.

I used the new version at MF on about 20 chairs.


I much prefer the Prochem uph tool with a Glide.


Much more maneuverable and gets into corners and tight areas better.
