Stripper or tile cleaner

With all this talk of wax or special finishes on ceramic or porcelain tile, I wonder if products like alkaline tile cleaners work as a stripper or is it better to use a specific stripping product like you would use on a vct floor? I have seen some videos on yt where they are actually using solvents to remove finishes.

Matters on if they even know which finish applied and how long ago to the tile. We've had success with Zepps + a DIY neutralizer in general.

I have one coming up where they used a VCT sealer/finish. I did their lobby last year and used a stripper and neutralizer with a spinner at 1200 psi. Now they have 2 more hallways with the same thing. Just wondering if a high ph product like Saiger Tsunami or similar will act like a stripper.

Why bother, if you know what works and it’s bound to be cheaper.
