Do take calls on Sunday for normal carpet cleaning? (if you don't normally work on Sunday)
Sure. Just not in person and don't respond until Monday AM. A lot of people just want to order the work when it occurs to them and let you be the one that remembers to call them back.
Once you respond after hours you'd better answer every call, since one of those calls might be a follow-up from a previous call you answered and you've now set the expectation of being open 24/7. I made the mistake of answering e-mails on weekends and then had people angry that I wasn't monitoring my e-mail in real time to respond immediately to their next question.
