Tested the larger 1/2 HP AC motor today with this Cat Pump.

Results were impressive:

1.5 GPM while spraying @ actual 500 PSI thru 2-Jet 12" Bentley (Two #11002 jets).

1.5 GPM while spraying @ actual 500 PSI thru Turbo Hybrid. (Two #1502 washjets)

Good cleaning Power for a Dual Purpose Portable with Dual Hi-Perf 3-Stage Vacs.

We are using this pump system in our Hi-Performance Portable Extractors.

What would be the actual draw for each cord? (I assume one cord will have the pump and vacuum and the second just the vacuum.)

Also, an electrical simpleton question- If the vacuums are working harder (say the wand is on carpet and there's more of a load) are they drawing more amps?

Ofer;

Primary Cord on this Extractor is drawing 18 amps (One 3-st.vac & 1/2HP pump)

Second cord is drawing 12 amps.(One 3-st.vac & cooling fan)

Vacs actually draw more current, with nothing connected to the vac hose.
