For ten damn years I've been running around in this POS Vortex with 20% less throttle/power than I paid for..

The tranny guy thought I should have my TPS looked at as he felt it was not as shifting as timely as he thought it should.

My local bud/mechanic found where the throttle "wing" (same thing the high water shut off puts a sensor to on these Vortexs' on the mechanical throttle versions) was hitting a fuel line hose at about 80% of it's travel

Relocate the hose an inch and POW!

I gots me a whole new POS Vortex

all I can say is JHFC.... unbelievable.

maybe I didn't need this AT after all :eekk:

Happy engine and transmission
6008 blower and Cat pump with less than 1500 hours on them
New style AT HX diverter
New waste tank lid
New rear doors
non leaking fresh tank
all new PTO shaft and bearings
new chem feed system and plumbing
same shitty radio, horrible suspension and squeaky dashboard.

either Jim Martin or Bob Vawter will die before this baby does.

If I could afford some new gaskets...a couple of bearings..a new shaft..and someone to re-work my plumbing...I might just take you up on that challenge......

why where do you work?

apartment complexes, back 40, driveways with trees that already scrape my van, on ice and snow covered streets half the year, dirt roads and dirt driveways. i also need to heat the inside of my van on the way to jobs because it gets so dang cold my tools freeze in about ten minutes while on the road without the heater running 15 with it on.

ive never seen one around here, not saying there arent any, just that ive never seen one.

You are lucky a fire didn't consume the truck & TM.

Of course it is diesel.
