Well I have one up on Craigslist so #9 only for a short while.

Rick has a sale on Cimex's going on and I just couldn't pass it up. Now we have 4 big wheeled Cimex's. That should be good for all but the big jobs when we will still need to use the small wheeled units.

So the old motor covers went the way of the doodoo bird?

Surprised Rick doesn't offer your "wings" for the Cimex.... I believe you probably have the most Cimex's than anyone else on the boards....

Those mods have been out for a few years now. The Leeson motor is taller than the motor that it used to have. Much better motor too!!!

. The solution tank opening has a wider mouth too.

You welcome... I was getting mad that everyone was spilling all over the machine while filling it up causing the rusting rotting out of the frame on the bottom. So I made it very clear to the Cimex rep at a convention that we demand wider mouth opening. I actually pulled out drawings of the tank to show them that we're ready to start manufacturing and selling better tanks and it will absolutely hurt them.

Sure enough, they had the wider mouth come to life in a matter of a few months.

Zee Rick sells just tanks.

We have bought two new tanks for older machines. Of course thats how I ended up buying this one. $250.00 for a new tank, $250.00 to upgrade to big wheels. Fook it I just bought a new one. :winky:

Hey Rick, Your listing for the tank has an issue that is pretty common and drives me crazy. The picture has a link that can be clicked that is supposed to pull up a much larger picture for us old guys that wear reading glasses, but when I click on the picture it pulls up another picture that is exactly the same size. What good is that? If I could see what I wanted in the tiny picture I wouldn't have clicked on it to bring up a bigger one! Suggest you take some higher resolution pictures and give us old guys something we can actually see. Or turn off the link so as not to get our hopes up that there might be a larger photo forthcoming....

Oh man...I can't tell you how much I hate that when I click on a picture and it's the same small size.

Thanks for that suggestion Dan. Sorry about straining your eyeballs. We normally try to have higher res pictures for the products so it shows a larger size as well as a thumbnail shot. But somewhere along the line some of the images have been reduced.

Have a look at this example of the Rotovac 360i... http://www.excellent-supply.com/Rotovac-360i--Rotary-Extractor-for-Carpet-Cleaning_p_858.html That image was loaded more recently and it displays correctly. We plan to get all our photos sorted out to display full-size/thumbnail images. But it's a big project and it'll take some time.

In the meantime... http://fostergrant.com/foster-grant-reading-glasses/james

Rick, you are one great salesman. We are talking about the Cimex and you have everyone looking at a RotoVac 360 i. I'm an old sales guy and I am really impressed with how you never stop asking for the sale. I will be buying a Cimex one day and Excellent Supply ( Tenoa ?) has taken good care of me.

Remind me to never buy anything from you on CL. I'm guessing you are selling Old #9 because it doesn't work and that's why you bought a new #9. Naughty boy!! Buyer beware! :stir:

It makes good sense to use the heck out of something and sell it while it still works. Especially items like the cimex where it is so hard to make a buck with them. I mean with the rates Richard charges I would imagine the difference in price between what he sells the old one for and what he paid for the new one is less than $1500.

On a good two day job the new machine will make that.

Nice Job Chaveeep..
