just quoted a job yesterday that has a hand scraped floor, that the wood grain is also slightly cross cut, it has tons of little pores that the drywall contractor got drywall dust into. was planning on using brush pro 20 and Wood Fresh.

The CRB is a marvelous tool for scrubbing out the grooves and grain, but make sure you use a gentle brush and only as much pressure as you need. The recovery can be with a hard floor tool, or (if you don't have one) a simple spin mop.
We use a neutral cleaner or a non-ammoniated glass cleaner, "Zep" concentrate from Home Pisspot.
The sludge has to be seen to be believed. Of course you can add necessary odor killers, disinfectants or whatever the floor needs, to augment the detergent.
For us, it is part of a good deep clean when Mrs. Custy wants all the old cooties moved out before they move in.

From a different thread on this subject the dirt Dragon got poor reviews. Recommendations were to purchase the Minuteman version.

A cleaner stated he was buying one. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with it's performance or if lugging in a 175, wet vac or special hard surface wand and a mop is still the better way to go?
Thanks,
Capt.

I searched a lot for reviews on that minute man and never found any feedback. As far as my lindhaus if will definitely give the floor that squeaky clean feel on my hardwood I cant get any other way but it's brush pressure seems very weak to me.
