Walking the property?
Setting up?
Pre vacuuming?
Rinsing?
Breaking down?
Collecting the moola?

I enjoy the giving of advice process the most.

Doesn't always turn into an upsell, rather me showing them where to buy glass polish, flat mops, a vacuum cleaner, a chemical or another service provider, but I get off on being knowledgeable and helpful.

I killed it with three folks yesterday, including the 19yo.

I would have made a great home inspector, but no realtor would ever hire me twice.

There is a school of thought that anyone who has a service business shouldn't see the first job as one that "makes money", but is instead them paying you for an otherwise rare or impossible face to face marketing opportunity.

Establish your credibility, and become memorable, and you'll have them for a lifetime.

Unfortunately that lifetime isn't long enough. I've lost so many customers that way.

But I agree. When you focus on the money you are missing out on so many other things.
