The Hoss

Just got the Hoss out of the corner and started using this week. Nice tool. Changed out the flat glides for the round glides. Does a nice job.

Now......

Will Sapphire develop a bolt-on (screw on actually) brush attachment for the Hoss head. I mean, you ain't shit unless you got a brush head....am I right? Seems a brush could be attached along with the replaceable glide plate? Eh?

In the mean time put the square glides back on, the provide more agitation.

I think it does just fine with a prescrub and the square glides

I think it is fine as is. Maybe to aggressive with a brush.

I use the steel glides because they don't get chewed up by tack strips. Chewed-up plastic shoes can be too aggressive on some carpets.

I've been thinking about attaching some fiber pad sections to the turntable with industrial Velcro.

There should be brushes in all of these rotaries. It evens out the cleaning pass and just makes sense.

It takes a BIG motor to drive them though, if you're going bigger than the 360i.

I should have time to swap the motor on my new XL this week.

I have not used a regular head for months now....I am still a fan of Teflon glides on the brush head....just like them....
