Which means what from a practical perspective?

I know what they are but not familiar with them or their use.

Quaternary ammonium compounds are cationic detergents, as well as disinfectants, and as such can be used to remove organic material. They are very effective in combination with phenols. Quaternary ammonium compounds are deactivated by anionic detergents (including common soaps). Also, they work best in soft waters[citation needed]. Effective levels are at 200 ppm. They are effective at temperatures up to 212 °F (100 °C).


Makes me doubt its compatibility to be added to pre-sprays and rinses, but I assume the manufacturers, distributors, and Mikey Ps of the world are much smarter than I am.

Probably can go to a local dist and find a quat and add it to your prespray. The carpet sanitizer I use is lemon scented.

I had been using a little tabac attack in my rinse Just for fragrance.

I might be interested in trying the product for urine odor removal.

Ray has always had the goods, I used to order my deodorizers from CMS when I first started out on my own in 1999.
They used to send out a small catalog.
