If you get into a rat nasty you can take the head off and power wash it before the next job. If you use them enough you can get to be pretty efficient switching to the hose.

It doesn't pay to send them in for service or parts

Just buy a new one..

Thanks for the tip. I have a used and abused kirby g4 but prefer to use my disposable Shark (second one in1.5 years)

The worst thing about a Kirby is you can pick them up for a slipped disc or a hemorrhoid or two.
Only at the end of the booking, to start with it always seems a lightweight. Something - happens - though when I use it and it just seems to stack the weight on.... Bit like marriage really.:razz:
