From the index page you'll now see that we have categorized old threads in a library style format covering most every topic you can think of related to this industry.

By doing so we believe we have made doing research much easier by far more effective searches and convenient browsing of related topics.

By locking these areas we are making it so all new threads will start in the Clean Room now. This should get more members looking/reading at topics the would have missed if placed in a over abundance of sub forums. Too many semi active rooms here were muddling things up, questions would be asked and never answered and many great threads were only seen by a few members. KISS!

We will eventually get the Clean Room down to about 5 pages of content and try to keep it that way. If you find an old topic in the Gold Mine that you would like to see active again you can either start a new thread on the subject in the Clean Room or ask any moderator here to move it there for you.

I want to give a huge thank you to those that have been helping out with this endeavor.

Keep in mind that the Goldmine is a work in progress and it will be change over the next few weeks.

Currently, there are approx 11,000 threads in the Clan Room that have NOT yet been moved.
The entire GM right now contains approx 5,500 threads.
So yes things will change a lot over the next few weeks.

In addition to the above, MB grows by aprrox 2,500 Posts per week and so many Threads will have to be added to the GM on a continuous basis.

Over time, as some shelves or sections of the GM grow too big, they may be broken down into even more sections or sub-sections.

The primary purpose of the GM is to help MB'ers find info quicky and easily without plowing through a pile of banter and DAP's. This is a first in this Industry's BB world.

Obviously, we are open to sugestions, so if you find a thread that contains too much banter or what you feel contains - inaccurate, unclear or dangerous information, please let us know and we'll run it by the appropriate resident experts on that particular subject to review.
