Whats the deal with those plastic price tag tabs/strings???? Small as heck, yet they refuse to go into the wand-slot. I have bigger objects come up all the time with no prob. Hmmm.. I think the Carpet Elves put them there to make us bend over.

Ditch the vac and get a leaf blower. It's more efficient at yard product, and when you're slow with carpet just do some leaf blowin.

ODIN,

Yep...

the pine needles are a pain.

Even without the glides.

Only way I found effective is take the hose off the wand and suck-em-up.

I've even tried the pre vac with a shop vac...them little beotches are still a pain...kinda like my ex

One thing I wish GG would do is offer the glides in "Krazy Kenny" plastic stock, in addition to Teflon. I beat the crap out of my glides, and the Teflon nicks on the tack strips.

If you'd charge a little more, you could slow down and stop doing the "krazy kenny" cleaning strokes and that would help you be a little more careful.

You know, a scratched glide still slides as good as a new one.

I think you're just being a whiny butt.

Teflon will self heal. It is soft enough so that it sort of burnishes itself from the friction of the cleaning process.

Plastic glides get nicked up and generally stay that way. You can file or slice them smooth again.
