Truck should be around 10K, don't know how Judson holds their value so can't say about the machine, maybe 60% of new. I was offered 9000 for mine at one place, but found a guy that offered 14300 so it pays to shop around.

KBB is roughly 10K for 4.8 reg length Chevy 2500 .. the machine maybe depreciate 10% per year .. although a 3 year old machine could be worthless and a 10 year old could be in immaculate shape fetching higher prices .. so hard to say ..

If you were asking 10K for all it might sell like hotcakes .. if you listed it for 15-17K you might get it but may take a year or 2 unless the stars align :afro:

Dents, cracks, rust, leaks, grease, oil film, smog, excessive hair piles, hmm (let me see :shifty: what else I have in my truck ) oh yeah and mold will all take away from your asking price .. :shifty:

That's some serious miles and some serious hours on an air cooled powerplant.

I'd decide what's your lowest you'd be comfortable with and go from there. Ride it out until you get what you want or you decide to reduce it.

Prob goin to buy a new one
has a 6 liter motor and it is extended also
power windows and cruise and power door locks
i will get some pixs soon
if i could get 20 for it ill sell it if not i may put a new motor on it
and put in new van.But we use it everyday and it works fine.
just looking to upgrade to new.
Did the math and makes more sense for us to buy a new one.
We work everyday 52 weeks a year.Need to have newer stuff for the main van anyway.
as for the motor may need one sooner or later 30hp kohler but still purr in right along.
But thanks for the feed back guys

95K miles isnt much these days .. if the van looks great, you should keep it ..

I just got a new 20HP Kohler from Johns Custom Machine for under $1600 shipped from FL to NY - yeah I know I could of got it $100 cheaper from SEW but they treated me like a number and Don is very personable .. he goes out of his way to make sure you get what you need .. he took time to tell me how to fix something and wanted me to call him back to see if it worked .. you could rebuild the Judson for as little as $4K with new engine, blower and pump .. tank should last forever ..

I'd sell them both.

While the van will still run for years, it could nickel & dime you to death making you wish you'd have sold it.

Plus you deserve a new van.

I'd price a rebuild on the unit and see if you come out better selling as is or refurbishing it and selling it for more.

Will Les take a trade in?
If he does that might be an even better way to go. You can't expect as much for the unit, as he need to make something off it. However you'll be down the road faster. :winky:

I have 2 TNT's both over 25 year old, both with brand new briggs, cat pumps, heaters, belts. I actually have 3 heaters now, one is a 360k btu diesel. I've thought of going new as well, but it works just as good as new, so I haven't bothered. I'll save my $ for an AT down the road.
