We are swamped....and have had excellent weather this Fall....

Really GREAT weather....

I knew it would come to an end soon....but oh was so hoping....:icon_neutral:

But tomorrow and starting tonight....just a potential crazy storm....:eekk:

And all out jobs are out in the wilderness areas which will have no snowplows out on them....

This could get ugly!

up to 14 inches of snow :dejection: :eekk: :eekk: :eekk: :eekk: :dejection::dejection::dejection:

And...I sold my plow truck this year! Now have to rely on someone to plow...or do it with the 4 wheeler...and the son in law has that right now due to hunting season up here....

Are you telling me that you don't have a snow plow on each of those saigerized vans of yours? I thought that would be standard equipment along with a zipper, just so you can reach the customers house and provide excellent over the top customer service.

No plow...but bad a$$ Tires....so we can really get stuck! :)

We have brought along small snow blowers, shovels, and even sometimes would have our plow truck leading the way into a place (which was really risky not knowing the place)

Today, I just need to get all this "Stuff" including proper clothing ready for tomorrow....and I just want to ignore it..... :icon_neutral:

Yikes! We set a record high here yesterday. It feels like Summer but I fear what is happening to you. Its so late in the season it can just pop up and winter will be here.

Good luck! I'd start moving jobs out of the path. Squeeze them in the day or Saturday. Rest during the storm.

I had all 6 of ours in and tuned up last week. Had to replace a carburetor on the oldest one.
I need to get to Sam's and but some salt. Today's high is 76° so I guess there isn't a rush on salt. :winky:

When we get dumped on I stay home a Nd reschedule. Most customers understand.

70 here today but our cold weather is supposed to get here Saturday. Im enjoying a rare day off today so getting out the chainsaw to clear my view to the river some more. Maybe go play nine a little later when it warms up some more.

Good luck with the first big storm of the season.

Mark, come live in my basement. You can do all the work you please, enjoy a mild winter and only slip me a minor share (49%) of your earnings!

Best of all are my low rates for wifi access which should allow you to amaze and impress your MB fans with videos all day long!

What say?

Most of today we were borderline needing a tow strap.

Logging everywhere... Road grater out trying to smooth things out... And people at end of the road we were cleaning said they would drag us in if needed :eekk:

Everywhere we went today.. Well 4 of our jobs were major remote no cell phone or data... Some very interesting places

Mark's weather is making National News. White out conditions...can't even see a road because snow is covering it and a lone Weatherman showing the viewers how terrible the weather is...then... from out of the white...an extended van... with headlights on and wiper blades wiping... moving quickly and blowing snow as it goes... I couldn't tell for sure due to the white out conditions but... I'm pretty sure I saw an S on the side of that van. Be careful out there Mark!
