Do you check up on and interview new applicants or just fill the opening? It seems like most chapters I've seen, just accept the application and fill the open category.

Our chapter recently started a formal interview and screening process. Just wondering how many others do this.

Funny you should ask.

We were about to let a Tile Setter in with out seeing his work.

I put a stop to that and personally went out and inspected some of his work.

Seeing how I should be his biggest tipper it was the right thing to do.

I'm VP right now but when I move up next year I'm gonna elect a entire new line up of officers.


Some of the old birds are gonna shit.

there's a local networking group that has voted people out for ethic violations

a good networking group will enforce guidelines and ethics

One year we even had to boot the President of the group due to bad business practices.
