Just curious. Wouldn't that box with 2 x 90 degrees elbows, substantially reduce both air flow and suction?
I agree with ofer, 2 more bends that you don't need. I don't think that you need to bolt anything into your van. There many inline filters that are either cloth or stainless steel that attach to your vac hose and probably easier to clean out as you can bring them to the garbage can instead of bringing the garbage can to the truck.

Ya the basket looks like a hydroforce those are replaceable. But they don't last forever. Not a fan of all the bends either.

The idea that it bolts in isn't always space savings you can store and move a devastator.

having used the hydroforce filters that look to be about the same as the actual filter part, i suggest you go with a devastator like everyone suggests or a cdv filter box (which you can see when its dirty/full). I like the CDV box because i use it to entertain problematic customers by letting them stare into the cdv box the whole time as they watch the dirt, filth, lint, hair, etc go into in.

My wand has a clear face plate right now, it is just for us to see how it does inside, but the other day it totally put two ladies in a trance like state, as I cleaned the living room of this house.
They were cleaners themselves....took about 15 biz cards....well see if anything comes out of it.

Want a moment of truth?

Let a customer hold the paint filter ( wrapped in a towle) after you run your RE on their carpet..

Explain how that is everything her and your vacuum leaves behind...

See if she doesnt toot your horn to her inner circle
