TILE trackers for Equipment!

We had 4 pieces of equipment stolen off a vacant home we were drying about two weeks ago.
TILE found the equipment in a pawn shop YESTERDAY! Meeting the police at the pawn shop later today! Gotta Love technology!
Money well spent!

1 DH, 1 AS, 2 Axials all recovered. Police now have the information of the person that stole them!

I have a tile in my wallet, on my car keys and on my truck keys.

Yet I lost my wallet last week and used my phone to track it (grocery store) but still cannot find it. Pissed off...

Maintenance guy it. Pick up tomorrow. He knew how to get a hold of me because I had business cards in it.

Did you put tile on all pieces of equipment, just random pieces, or just on jobs that are more high risk?

Where did you buy them, Greg? I did a brief search and only found quantities of 8 in a pack. Also, what is the range?

I bought a 4 pack. They are crap up here in Canada because of our population size the Tile community is non existent...

What does that mean? Why does the population matter?
I know nothing about this product, but would love to have a way to track stolen equipment with this or something else..

The tiles use the app to get found the more people using it the faster it is found and easier it is located. I think something like that.

From what I read they cannot see it but rather it updates to your phone.

yes it uses other phones to update it location then it is then relayed to you but only you see your tiles.
