Time for a new upholstery tool.

I'm not into duct taping my equpiment like some folk here.

It is time to retire the hydramaster tool..

What should I replace it with?

I've really enjoyed the trigger less feature of the hydramaster tool.

I'm on my 3rd hydramaster tool (newest version) but they keep giving me a new one when the little chrome bars come off

Have they solved the issues with the aluminum spray head? They seems to wear out kinda quickly..

well i am on my 2nd new gen of the dri master tool and love it first one was crap the little brass supply line kept breaking
and i got fed up with it and sent it back and they sent me a new one.
but that bein said i love the thing no mess leaves the fabric pretty darn dry.

i do have a saphire tool but have not used it a lot but my tech likes it
both are great as we have a ton of wood floors in the homes we service and both are very neat and mess free
and i alway use a drop cloth
have a pro chem also but hardly ever get it out,
i hope hyrdramaster has got the bugs worked out and my new one is a keeper.
my nod still goes to the dri master

I agree with Mike.

The new Sapphire Uph. Tool is the best tool I have seen.

I cleaned some silk rugs the other day,
that have been impossible to clean previously with other tools.

The angled multi-jet system left no streaks,

and the silk fiber dried with a very soft hand.

I used the trigger flow-control handle

I recently switched to one of these w/ a slot glide.

It might feel akward at first (and you might feel like a hack) but once you get the hang of it you'll never go back to a 3" inch upholstery tool again.

They make an 18-inch short handle stair tool also, amybe you could use it for chairs & cushions?

I've considered the short handle prochem for upholstery too. Just haven't ponied up the $400 (+ or -) yet.

for now, the long handle works great!

It comes stock w/ dual 1.5 jets. I run the PSI less than 100 and turn the vacuum way down.

Does a great job of flushing and recovery, less wrinkle problems, no tool marks that need grooming, and acceptable dry times.

a little akward at first.

Betcha i can clean an entire sectional with it in about the same time as it takes the average cleaner to do a Lazy-Boy recliner !gotcha!
