Is it time? My soles are worn through and I can feel the rocks poking my feet while walking. What should I get. I don’t want to spend more than $40 after tax.

Or should I just duct tape them and keep on trucking.

Don't feel bad, my 1st Oreck was put out to pasture last night.

What ever you call the spinning cylinder that the motor brushes rub against, got all waably and sparkey.

The noise and vibration was insane.

I took a few parts off it and converted a freebee from a customer to a daily driver, with a headlight mind you.

Ok guys, and Meg. Time to brag. I’ve made a lot of money over the last few days. I'm jumping in the shower then taking the family to the Asian Buffet. I love it when that hot mustard shoots up my nose. Then off to Dick’s Sporting goods to get some sub-$40-after- tax shoes.

good choice

Then off to Dick’s Sporting goods

Asian Blvd was the right road, but you took a wrong turn on to Stupid St

Shoe Carnival or Kohls if not going to Sketchers .
Dicks is for golf balls on sale and trendy metrosexual morons with more money than brains

I decided on the $69.99 pre tax Asics. I’m uncomfortable sepending this much. They better last longer than my $26 Big 5 shoes.

I only go to Dick's because my kids love to go play on the treadmills and play with all the free weights. I think it's fun to watch the store employees stress out.

got better than 5 hard seasons on my Orvis waders before they gave up the ghost
I've been happy with most all Orvis products
(my Silver Label 9ft 7wt is one of my all time favorite rods}

but for boots, Chota is the best I've ever run

and if not sticky enough, you can screw in their optional carbide spikes if the porcelain is still too slick...…:icon_razz:

I just bought a new pair of shoes and my feet are killing me. I will not be wearing these to work in much longer. I just wore out my best ever work TENNIS shoes. They were light, grippey with that tennis court tread they just made me feel secure coming of of wet carpet onto a hard floor. My local Adidas outlet didn't have anything similar in stock so I'm going online to order some Stan Smith's or something similar.
