We are putting the finishing touches on the new standard for 4-Vac portable extractors.

Here is the Titan QUAD with 500 PSI pump & the pump-out:
Titan.jpg

Notice enlarged 2" port on vac manifold on bottom left side.

Still has a fair amount of room in the compartment.

It has the new "M5+" exhaust port Cuff-Lynx with silencing system.

Starting current demands are less with this high-flow pump system.

Cord #1 draws 19 amps with 2 vacs and high-efficiency DC solution pump.

Cord #2 draws 18 amps with 2 vacs and pump-out.

Both are rated for plug-in power equipment with 20 amp circuits.

It can also operate on two 15 amp circuits.

Ron;

It is hard to believe that two 15 amp circuits are not available.

That means 1750 watt hair dryers and toasters would be tripping the same breakers.

you need to get into some of the older buildings Larry.
Yes, run two hairdryers and it would trip a breaker, OR blows a fuse (yes, fuses are still in use) Fuses are a real pain, cant just turn it back on.

When I was running a Mytee (300 PSI, 2000 Watt heater, 2/3stage vacs) it would routinely blow the fuses in older homes & constantly pop circuit breakers. In my view if you want to run a heated portable, you need one of the converters that plugs into the dryer plug and gives you several 20 amp circuits. That is a huge problem if the condo or apartment has a double stack washier/dryer.

I good pre spray & scrubbing is often a better option then attempting to run an electric heater.

Finished the testing today.

I have to say this is the strongest portable I have ever seen.

Tested with a 12" wand and a 14" Bentley.

Both delivered top cleaning results . . .
with higher vac levels than I have ever seen.

Ron is absolutely right.
Here in S.F. in a lot of the condos (not just old condos) and old buildings the machine trips the circuits quite often.
Yes Larry, even the ones that are supposed to draw less than 15 Amps, still trip the circuits.
I had it happen frequently enough with a Castex, a Mytee and a Cheyenne to suspect that the amp rating is not very accurate. It could be that hey draw a lot more when working under full load.

The macho machines may as well be known as the "All Lights Out" brigade, here.

It will be nice if they made more efficient pumps and vacuum motors that maintain the airflow and water lift while drawing less amps. However, I guess that is to be discussed with the manufacturers.

That is exactly what these vac motors are providing . . .

more efficient vac sources.

The 3-stage vacs draw 2-3 amps less than similar power 3-stage vacs from last year.

why you got all that vac power with a wimpy ass 300 psi pump with a dc motor that gets real hot

It's not the old "300 PSI" motor.

This motor is larger and more efficient.

It delivers more GPM also.

I know exactly what motor that is m5 pumptec best your going to see is maybe 400 psi at a low flow numbers for any-kind of impact and at higher pressure as stated before those motors get real hot.

Over the years I have replaced many of those motors in my customers portables

I know Larry, so are my Mytee 1003DX.
However, maybe it is the way they are configured in the machine or maybe when under load, they still seem to trip the circuits sometimes.

The new vac motors we are using, require ~2 amps less than the ones in your 1003DX.

The new tapered fan designs in both 3-stage and 2-stage vac motors,
are much more efficient.

In fact, these motors are the most efficient designs produced in the U.S.

They are not the standard vac motors.
