What's the worst place you've pulled your trailer on a job? I've been in worse places than today, and I'll take some pics next time I get to one of those places. Just wondering if there's anyone else who's been in some tight places where a trailer shouldn't be.

I have a trailer at Justin's now with two 405s on it. He had one set up to run as a backup backup backup before the turns. So thankful we didn't have to use it like that.

Trailers are useful for moving heavy TMs between vans.

Wow. I'm really surprised. Maybe there'll be some trailer pullers in the next few days posting a pic of their setup. I hope

Water Damage call....one insurance adjuster adjusting for another adjuster on his home....

I got my single axle all aluminum restoration trailer stuck in a driveway between 2 trees trying to make the circle in front of their house.....just actually not too far from me...

Kind of out in the woods rustic and they didn't take down too many trees for the drive or in front of their house.

Had to unload the entire trailer....and then we had to push it back by and to manipulate it into another spot on the property...then back the van all the way down the drive (3/4 mile drive) so could hook up again, load up the trailer....so could pull it out....

And the insurance adjuster who called was on site adjusting for other insurance adjuster.....and he turned the claim down ....so the other insurance adjuster (cabin owner) told us he would do it himself!

What a pain in the A$$

Both those guys still owe me money actually (we came back and did some carpet cleaning after he was done with tear out and rebuild) ....from four years ago!

Wow! I've only had one time similar to that, where I had to have my customer pull my trailer out, because I didn't have 4wheel drive at the time. But your situation still seems a lot worse than any of mine. Thanks for sharing that. It makes any time I complain feel like it's not that bad

Its not a trailer story, we did fine with ours but thankfully I finally sold ours after it sitting for several years.

My story is when a homeowner asked the crew to pull around back to extract water from their walk out. The ground was firm enough to pull around on but as the truck got loaded down with water the ground couldn't hold up and it eventually sunk down until the tires were deep in the mud.

Tow charge, re-sod the yard, hours of wasted time at a time of flooding when they could have been producing income.

Don't listen to the client without thinking. It had stormed the days before, we were there to because of the rain, why would you pull up on the grass????

:dejection:

No, I was back here in the rear with the gear. Back at the office stomping a hole in the ground.

Dozen's of calls with people begging for us standing there with money in their hands. All the while we are digging trenches in someones backyard. :errf:

P.S.
I've done my share of stoopit things but I eventually gots shmarts! :winky:

I pull a trailer everywhere. I don't get off road much but have backed up several driveways over 300 feet that were windy with many low hanging trees and novelty lampposts. Once I went down a easement road right next to a steep drainage ditch...in the the rain...about a 1500 feet down the road it got too narrow and I had to back up nearly the whole way...freeking google maps!

Something tells me we're the same person, lol. Because I pictured your description into a memory on one of my bad garmin days before google maps came on board
