Today's volunteer job :)

Yep... Super busy BUT,

our local homeless shelter called and is in need of their carpets and upholstery cleaned today...

Yes... We will volunteer our services. We have been taking care of this place since it's beginnings....

Going to take care of that today with the 2 of us and our 2 Butlers!

Me and son in law Aron Jewett will get it done! 2800 sq feet of carpets, few upholstered recliners....

And 6 other places today too...

We are blessed with work and passing on the good Karma.

Yeah, service is great. One time I saw this golden lab with a limp foot that I thought about helping.. He looked so sweet. I wish there was something I could have done.
Oh well, it's the thought that counts right?

Here was our post on our Facebook pages today....with permission of course and the goal of also bringing awareness as well to the organization and their cause.

It was really cool to see people showing up to volunteer, such as some yard work, stuffing and preparing mailings....

They have some basic needs all the time, and I wanted to also help point those needs out for them...

Yes, it does get us recognition, but seeing little kids there coming and going...just breaks a persons heart...

So my company aside...this is a great thing that our community does....just can't be more proud to be able to live here

Grand Rapids MN has so many great things to offer. We see so many people volunteering time, energy and even money to worthy and needy causes... making this such a great place to live! Today, we were able to be a part of giving back to our community donating our carpet and upholstery cleaning services for the Grace House. Itasca Counties only homeless shelter.
