I cut openings in our first Butler wands back in 1988 and installed lexan windows so I know just how valuable they can be when rinsing out colored stains and spot residue from failed spotting attempts. They also let you know if you are wasting your time dry stroking more than once or whether you are still pulling lots of moisture.

So when would be a good time pull out my "wand window" patent?

Inside the vacuum chamber of the wand? Never gonna happen.
Its worse than a temp gauge on a wand.We've cleaned for decades without one, I imagine we can go a few more decades without a window.

A simple snap hinge and gasket would solve the problem. Snap open for a delicious snack or cleaning, snap shut to use. Vacuum would seal it tightly when in use.
