It's coming!

This years list will be compiled by entry forms. You wanna be on the list prove to the council that you're worth it!

The serious implications and ramifications of being placed on this prestigious list can and will have a huge effect on your company. Your present and future clients will know they have found the very best when you make them aware of being a Top 25'r.

Just ask Al Sims how much dough his year at the near top made him.

Please cut and paste this form and send it back to me so I can enter the numbers onto my spreadsheet. Each question has already been answered by pre picked top 5 members. The closer you get to their answers the higher you will be placed.
You have two weeks from today to get on it!
All entries will be phone shopped AND shopped in person by a family or friend of one of the MB Admin and Mod staff. If we can't find one in your area , you're sol.

Hi Waldo,

No disrespect but would you kindly give a quick bio of who you are?

Some ignorant sob's like myself, and the newbee's, have no clue.

Have you spent a lot of hours cleaning carpets? Details please.

Best regards,

George

too much. Its 1015pm on a Sat night and I'm reading the board!

Golden Boy

I'm in agreement with the above posts wrt equipment alone. There are a LOT more variables that make a good cleaner. Customer relations. How they use the equipment. Knowledge base/training. By just asking about "what" is being used, the criteria becomes no better than the SOA. Being compared to the SOA is NOT a compliment.

Mike, it's all in how you market your standing. It has become a big money maker for me and I will be forever indebted to Wald... for thinking of this brilliant marketing scam err, I mean scheme. It just further strengthens my market dominance, and gives me more creditability in my client’s eyes.

Just imagine the look on your clients face when they realize that you are one of the top five cleaners (as voted by your peers} in the whole country. They will think you “hung the Moon" and will spread the word like wildfire because they want to show their friends how smart they are. (It’s called social proof} Before you know it, clients will be seeking you out, and be glad to pay top $$$$$$$$$$$$ for your services. After all, you are in the top five nationwide.

It's all about Marketing.................so don't fight the list.......do your best to get on it.[/color]

Well, I at least know my customers beleive I am in the top 10..........or even number one
since they call on me repeatedly.....

patch's or not..........So that is what counts most...........

I will never make any list on these forums......but...........then the forums don't
go to the bank and make sure I have food on my table, or a roof over my head.

So.......like John the OP man said.............

When I was on the list a couple years ago, I included it on all my marketing pieces. Probably brought in an extra $5k.

I'll second what Dirk says.

My seven retailers are well aware of my T25 status and make sure to tell all their customers about me.

It's been huge!

Send me a mere $100, and I will make sure you are in the top 5- in MY list only.

Then you can brag you are in the top 5.

Send me a mere $500, and I will allow you to be the top one!!

Think about how much you can brag then!!

After all, it is only money, and you have it, and I want it.

thats probably the big difference there. I only do about 20-25 jobs a month. I see those nasty ones every so often but not that often. I've been finding the O2 does a great job of lightening things up.

Someone who has a clue should come up with the questions.

Most of the questions above are about what types or brands of equipment you use - hardly a measure of cleaning skills !!

9. How much 30/40 vol do you use in a month?

This is the most idiotic question as it would only be an indicator of how many trashed places you clean which is more likely an indicator of
POOR cleaning skills.

How about something like :
How many pieces of silk furniture do you clean per year ?
or
How many antique ( more than 75 yrs old ) pieces of furniture have you cleaned ?
or
Do you know how to re-color woven rugs ?
or
Do you clean rugs with your TM or do you immersion clean them ?
or
Can you restore a rug that has bled ?
or
Do you know how to repair burn marks ?
or
Can you repair a Braided Rug?
or
Can you take care of furniture stains?

I would be embarrassed to be on ****** list as it currently is.
