What will you be doing this coming week on or for your business this coming week that you have not done before?

What was your motivation for the change?

What do you hope to accomplish?

I'm putting on the finishing touches on our first annual golf tournament. I'm trying to help build a little comradery between the cleaners and restorers around here and maybe help bring up the industries quality around here.

Moving into this century,

We bought ServiceCeo and are in the process of upgrading our computers and learning how to use it. Were also switching to Quickbooks from MS Money.

I bought the program against my Partners wishes, he can no longer handle all the office duties and needs help but sadly hasn't realized it. I'm hoping this keeps me from killing him.

Work aside, Yesterday I stared wearing a regular shoe again after breaking my foot 2 months ago. Being down for awhile has given me a new appreciation for recreational activities. I'm going to buy a street bike this month and enjoy my evenings at stupid speeds. No you'll never see me on cops, they don't show the ones that get away.

T--

Gimme a call, I'd love to come up if that is cool.

For me this week--
This week, my goals are many--keep interviewing for an office manager. Keep interviewing for another tech. What is the deal with people? Or maybe I have too high of expectations. Try to get new trucks into lettering shop if they will ever get it figured out.

Crackdown on system enforcement...we have been insanely busy, shorthanded and most all of my daily systems--mainly paperwork that techs turn in--have just fallen off the deep end. We are extremely disorganized right now; just killin ourselves to get the jobs done and seems little time for anything else. Shop looks like a tornado went through here. Full day yesterday, got 2 guys out today, and have a full day tomorrow--freakin no Labor day. Still pullin 80+ hrs a week, my guys are at about 60 hrs wk. Gotta fix that quick!
Finish general contractor license application. Schedule test.
And about 200 other things that I was supposed to already have done.

We started intorducing packages last week. Had 11 different clients choose our second to highest package and were very happy. I averaged $225.00 an hour on these. Why I didn't do this sooner? I don't know?

Spend more time talking to the squirrels and birds in my backyard.

Come to some understanding why I've been shooting alot of them lately.

I'm going to hang out with a few rug suckers up in the eastern Sierras on Thursday.

Got some fat stone jobs before then and a few million dollar banner contracts to pursue.

Lots of cold calling on commercial accounts. In the past I expected more out of traditional advertising. The motivation; to double my annual gross over the next twelve months.

I am getting ready to come to California for the first time in my life. Dropping my wife in Newport Beach, visiting some business associates and then taking the RIA rug specialist class in San Diego.
