had one done on my 61k miles Silverado last week and now on cold morning start ups I got a squeak that aint the belts when I first accelerate. Goes away in a few miles

Took it back and they said I was a quart high, pumped some out and will check in the AM.

Did they knock crud loose and not get it out?

Took it back and they said They might have added too much fluid because itwas a quart high, pumped some out and will check in the AM.

Did they knock crud loose and not get it out?

I would hold them accountable...

They really don't flush most just change whats in the tranny and the filter. a lot of the old oil or fluid is still in the tourque converter
Over filling in some cases is almost as bad as low oil....

Our 2003 has about 170K miles....
had the tranny flushed at the local Quick Lube place three times so far...
Ued the AMSOIL stuff in the tranny and the engine...
Seems to work OK for us...a liittle over $90 for the tranny flush, can't remember exactly...
That Van has given us very few problems, except paint on engine Hood is peeling and the interior trim is crappy...Seats are OK...seats were crappy in the '98
New 2011 GMC van interior seems to better built

Bill,
We did a move-out clean and carpet for a lady a few months ago and she had a case of amsoil trany juice on the front porch, she told me to take it home or she would throw it away! My van is due for a trans filter and oil change, when I back out of the drive it has a short pause befor it shifts into drive.

That could have been bad. Those "flush" machines usually cause more trouble than they're worth. If your truck wasn't so new, they'd probably deny any responsibility and say it was just getting old.
